TOGAF 9

TOGAF 9 is the Open Group Architecture Framework.

TOGAF started with a focus just on Technical Architecture and evolved to support Enterprise Architecture from the process perspective TOGAF ADM together with some best practices.

Now with the recent release of TOGAF 9, it has truly become an Enterprise Architecture Framework as well as an Enterprise Architecture process. This is a significant improvement and will be the tipping point for its further adoption as the de-facto Enterprise Architecture Framework. In the next release it is expected to further enhance and improve its framework and meta model with the integration of Archimate.

TOGAF 9 can be used freely by any organization wishing to develop its own enterprise architecture.
